montana medical association foundation selects officers for 2021/2022

The Montana Medical Association Foundation announced today that its Board has selected a new slate of officers to lead the Foundation through August 2022, with William S. Gallea, M.D., a Lewistown emergency medicine physician, taking the helm as President.

Dr. Gallea takes the place of Roman M. Hendrickson, M.D., a family medicine physician in Sheridan, Montana, who served as Foundation president over the 2020-2021 term. Additional officers announced for the 2021-2022 term include:

  • Vice President - Nicole C. Clark, M.D., Neurology, Helena
  • Secretary/Treasurer - Sarah F. Morgan, M.D., Emergency Medicine, Bozeman

The MMA Foundation is committed to supporting medical education and other programs that expand knowledge, promote physical health, and assist medical communities in promoting healthier lifestyles. Among the programs supported by the Foundation is the Healthcare Excellence in Leadership Program, which has graduated over 130 physicians and other health care professionals over seven years. Initiatives supported by the Foundation help ensure that Montana’s citizens have future access to physicians providing the highest quality health care. 

The Foundation, as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, is an option for individuals looking for contribution opportunities that will directly impact practicing physicians, medical students, and Montana patients.
